Reports & insight

Your inventory, ready to hand over.

Total values at a glance, and polished reports — grouped, filtered, illustrated — that print or save as PDF. For the insurer, the estate, or just for knowing.

Insight

The numbers, always in view.

Every collection shows its item count, total value and the share still under warranty — live, in your own currency. Consumable collections chart usage and purchases over time; property collections roll running costs up to one monthly figure.

Three reports, endlessly configurable.

Item List

A structured list of your items with value and purchase metadata — the quick inventory.

Item Details (Full)

Everything on record: type-specific fields, notes, custom fields, warranty details — the deep document.

Inheritance overview

Items grouped by heir, with optional values per heir — clarity for the people after you.

Group, filter, illustrate — then print.

Group by category or warranty status, filter to the categories that matter, include or exclude notes, custom fields and images, choose list or card style. A live preview shows the document as you shape it.

The result carries totals — items, value, oldest and newest — and goes straight to print or PDF. No export dance, no separate tool.

The document your insurer hopes you have.

After a fire, a burglary or water damage, the first question is always the same: what did you have, and what was it worth? A home inventory report answers with purchase dates, prices, serial numbers and photos — the difference between an estimate and a claim.

It works because the record already exists: items documented as you live, receipts filed the moment they arrive. The report is just the handover.

Reports, answered.

Can I export to PDF?

Yes — every report prints or saves as PDF through the standard print dialog, with a live preview first.

What goes into the full report?

As much as you choose: purchase details, warranty status, type-specific fields like registration numbers, notes, custom fields, a file indicator and images — grouped and sorted your way.

Can I report by heir?

Yes — with inheritance enabled, the inheritance overview groups items by heir, can include unassigned items, and can total the value per heir.

Is this what an insurance company needs?

It is what they ask for: an itemized record with values, dates and proof. Many insurers settle documented claims faster — and a report beats reconstructing a house from memory.

Are reports free?

Reports are part of iTems PRO. On iTems FREE you can see the report catalog, but preview and export are locked.
