Bring an existing inventory into iTems with the CSV import wizard.

If your inventory already lives in a spreadsheet, the import wizard walks you through getting it into iTems.

Import a CSV file

  1. Open the importer

    Settings → CSV import.

  2. Pick the file and options

    Choose the CSV file and confirm how it is formatted (separator, encoding).

  3. Map the columns

    Match each CSV column to an iTems field — title, price, purchase date, category and so on. Unmapped columns are skipped.

  4. Choose the collection and preview

    Pick which collection receives the items and check the preview.

  5. Confirm

    iTems imports the rows and shows a summary when done.

Can I import into a specific category?

Map a CSV column to the category field and iTems files each row accordingly.
