Create a collection
Pick between an Assets collection and a Consumable items collection, and get your first one set up.
Everything in iTems lives in a collection, so that is where you start.
Create a collection
Open the home screen
The home screen shows every collection you have. If this is your first, it will be empty.
Tap the new collection button
The creation wizard opens.
Choose the type
Pick Assets for belongings you keep, or Consumable items for stock you use up and re-buy. The type decides which screens the collection gets and cannot be changed later.
Name it and finish
Give the collection a name — “Our home”, “Cabin”, “Pantry” — and confirm.
How many collections can I have?
On the free plan you currently get one collection. iTems Pro removes the limit, so you can keep separate collections for your home, cabin, vehicles or business.
Do I need an account to create one?
No. Collections you create without signing in are stored on your device. Signing in lets you back them to iTems Cloud, sync across devices and share with others.
