Create a property collection
Set up a collection for your home: start from your address, add the property facts, and build it out room by room.
A property collection is a collection type built for your home itself — the building, not the things in it. It holds the property’s facts, its rooms, the components the house is made of, planned maintenance, fixed costs and documents.
Property collections are part of iTems for the web (beta), and everything you register syncs with your iTems account through iTems Cloud.
Create the collection
Choose the Property type
On the collections screen, create a new collection and pick Property. The street address is what anchors it — start typing and pick your address.
Let iTems fetch a photo
iTems finds a street-level photo of the building for the collection card. You can swap it for your own photo later.
Fill in the property facts
Property type, year built and renovated, living and lot area, floors, bedrooms, bathrooms, energy label, heating — record what you know, add the rest as you learn it.
Continue with rooms
The collection is ready. The natural next step is recreating your home room by room — see the rooms and components guide.
Is a property collection included in the free plan?
Yes — it is a collection type, not an add-on. The free plan currently includes one collection; iTems Pro removes the limit, so the house can live alongside your other collections.
Can I have more than one property?
With iTems Pro, yes — one collection per property: home, cabin, rental. Each keeps its own rooms, components, costs and documents.
What about the furniture and electronics inside?
Keep those in your regular Assets collections. The property collection is for the building itself — together they are the full picture of what you own.
