A Consumable items collection has its own screens, built around things you use up.
The four screens
On hand — your current stock, with quantities you adjust as you use things. Filter by in stock, low, or out.
Shopping List — add entries yourself, or let iTems suggest them when stock runs low. Check items off as you buy; purchases update your stock.
Planned purchases — things you intend to buy later, kept separate from the day-to-day list.
Projects — group consumables around a project (a renovation, an event) with its own list and image.
Suggestions and notifications
When something runs low, iTems can suggest it for the shopping list and notify you — so the pantry refills itself before it is empty.
