Automatic receipts from stores
Stores that support iTems receipts deliver them straight into the app — no scanning needed.
New Receipts in the collection menu is where receipts from participating stores arrive by themselves.
How it works
When you shop at a store that supports iTems receipts and give them the email address or phone number that is verified on your iTems account, the receipt appears in New Receipts automatically. From there you turn it into items with one tap.
Set it up
Sign in to iTems
Automatic receipts are tied to your account.
Verify your contact details
Under Settings → Account → Contact details, add and verify the email addresses and phone numbers you use at checkout.
Shop as usual
Give the store your verified email or phone number when they ask for a receipt address.
Check New Receipts
New receipts appear on their own; the Check for new receipts button fetches on demand.
A receipt has not shown up — why?
Make sure the store supports iTems receipts and that the email or phone number you gave at checkout is verified in your account. Receipts sent to unverified contact details cannot be matched to you.
